Bubble Bath

Aaron has been sick with a cold so I wanted to give him a "vapor" Bath. You are suppose to add this Vapor bath to the water and it helps clear their head. I didn't realize it was going to make so many bubbles but it made for a good photo. He is such a happy baby. He is sick but has a smile on his face. What a good baby.

Merry Christmas!!!

Aaron and Great Grandma

Grandpa, Aaron, and Great Grandpa

I love the hat

We had a great Christmas. It was Aaron's first one. He obviously wasn't into it this year. It was just another day for him. We spent the day with my parents, grandparents and George Sr. and Mel. We all made the trip out to Emmett and had a wonderful dinner that my grandma made. Of course I had to put Aaron in a silly babies first Christmas outfit.

BSU Bowl game

We went over to the Weber's House to watch the BSU vs. TCU game. Aaron loves to watch football but it was just to late of a game for him. He watched it with his eyes closed. He even stayed asleep with all the yelling.

Animals in my face

Aaron and Cody the cat

Come here bunny so I can pull your ear

My grandma has a bunny and we wanted to see what it would think of Aaron. I of course didn't have the camera ready so I missed a photo opportunity of the bunny rubbing his face against Aaron's face. My parents have cats that usually don't come inside but it has been cold here and a lot of snow. One cat came in the other day and loved Aaron. All Aaron wanted to do was pull the cats ear. He didn't care because it was attention.

Time escapes us

It seems like every time I turn around another month has passed. We are trying to spend all of our time with Aaron and remember this time. Everyone said the first year would just fly by and boy were they right.

12 Weeks Old!

I can't believe that Aaron is already 12 weeks old. It seems like the last 12 weeks went by so fast. I took him to the doctor for a well baby visit. He is now 14 pounds and 24 in long. I was wondering why he was hurting my arm so bad when I held him. He is a solid boy. He is such a happy baby and so pleasant. Every morning when we go to get him out of his crib he is laying there smiling and cooing.

Our two Kids

We dressed both of our kids up for Halloween. Clevelands costume looks so real (ha ha)

Halloween

This was Aaron's first Halloween. He slep the whole time we took Max, Owen and Triston out to trick-or-treat. He was a little bee and so cute.

Great Grandma

So far Aaron has met two of his Great Grandma's and they love him so much.

Tummy Time

Tummy time can be a good time or a bad time. It all depends on the day. I love the one of his little bottom.

Bath Time

Aaron loves to get a bath. I didn't have any photos of him in the bath but we did have a cute one of after the bath.

Dirty Laundry

The only way I can get the dirty laundry and Aaron downstairs is to put him in the basket. On this day he did not like my idea.

Getting so big

Sorry we have not updated our blog for about a month. Here are some updated photos of Aaron.

Aaron

Aaron finally got to meet who he is named after. Aaron Trent and George have known each other for about 16 years and are still good friends. We all had a good time visiting and telling baby stories. Thanks for making the drive to Boise Aaron and Leah.

Weekend in Washington

We went to Walla Walla Washington for the weekend to help Grandpa George move to Boise. While we were there Aaron and I got to spend a lot of time with Grandma Patty. Patty and I had the very hard job of watching Aaron sleep. It was great to spend time with the grandparents. Aaron also got to meet his 3rd cousin Harry. We packed a lot of stuff into one weekend but it was worth it.

Football Fan

We introduced Aaron to BSU football at 17 days of age. He is a fan already and doesn't even know it. We took him to his first tailgate and he slept almost the whole time. What a good baby. He went to his 2nd tailgate a week later and a week after that we went to the Weber's house to watch BSU beat Oregon. He is such a good fan. He likes to watch the games with his eyes closed. He didn't want his picture taken with all the other boys though.

Birthday!!!

We welcomed Aaron George Van Horn to our family on Aug 14th at 7:12pm. I went in for my last "regular" doctors appointment and found out that he was breach. He was delivered by c-section that same day. Aaron weighed in at 7lbs 14oz and was 20.75in long.
Happy Birthday Aaron.
